2021 WWE Presents: The RAW Review 6/14/21 by Tony Kegger

[Editors Note: The year is 2021. This site has merged with WWE.com and they now present every WWE review found on this site. Ever since John Canton was arrested for killing Vince Russo after creative differences over the ending of an Impact Promos PPV (because cutting promos matter) and Andrew Johnson ran TJR into the ground, THE INFAMOUS JCITY™ has taken over the IWC with an iron fist. While he is out promoting his new WWE financed publishing company, Tony Kegger has taken over the writing on the site, as well as the WWE Magazine I-Pad 20 app. Lmao, just kidding, as you can clearly see, this show takes place 10 FUCKING YEARS FROM NOW!!!! I’m sure it’s not meant to be taken serious so before some of you get to bitching about it, just relax and enjoy this look into the future of the WWE.]

Welcome to The RAW Review. This week, Monday Night RAW was live from the LeBron James Kingdom in Miami, Florida. The show begins with the chairman of the WWE….Triple H! He talked about The Miz’s condition after last week. Triple H shows the footage from last week in which “Silent Rage” Andy Leavine attacked The Miz at the announce table after Leavine’s match. Triple H says that he has found someone to take over The Miz’s announcing duties while he recovers at home. Mick Foley’s music hits and it is revealed that Foley will be the newest addition to the RAW announce team alongside Josh Matthews. Foley said that it’s good to be back at the announce table and that he knew that the John Cena vs. Randy Orton Wrestlemania 31 match would not be the final match he called in the WWE. After Foley is done talking, Triple H says that Silent Rage will not be getting a title shot at the upcoming Tables Ladders Cars (TLC) Pay Per View. He said that Leavine’s attack on The Miz will not be tolerated and that he will find someone else to face Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship at TLC. The RAW GM sent an email. Official RAW GM spokesperson Michael Cole said that the GM has booked Dominik Mysterio vs. “The Big Bad Wolf” Luke Robinson to determine the #1 contender. Also, Silent Rage will be in action against “Big Rigg” Jeremiah Riggs for the first time ever. They faced each other on an episode of Saturday Night Superstars a few years ago, but I guess we’re not supposed to remember that. It’s interesting to note that both Riggs and Leavine were both on Tough Enough ten years ago.

I thought this was an interesting RAW opener. It’s good to see Foley back at announcing, but I hope The Miz isn’t gone for too long. His announcing on RAW has been really entertaining.

Daniel Bryan defeats Alex Riley (**)

This was a decent match. Daniel Bryan is not as athletic as he used to be, but he is still a good worker. It will be sad when he retires at the end of this year. I hate how Riley is a jobber now. Just two years ago, he was the World Heavyweight Champion. Oh well…at least he actually got a match on RAW this week.

Backstage, Silent Rage is breaking stuff in the locker room while he fellow Rage’ns try to calm him down. Silent Rage says that Triple H should know by now that he has IED (Intermittent Explosive Disorder) and sometimes he hears voices in his head. Husky Harris tells Silent Rage that his WWE Championship opportunity will come soon, but right now, Silent Rage has to focus on Big Rigg. Harris says Silent Rage should watch Harris put a beating on Zack Ryder because they have a match coming up next.

The WWE are continuing to build the Silent Rage vs. Triple H feud. Wrestling websites say that the match will take place at Summerslam. This would be Triple H’s first match in three years.

Husky Harris defeats Zack Ryder © (** ½)

This was a non-title match. Husky looked really good against Ryder and it looks like Harris will face Ryder for the Intercontinental Championship at TLC. I hope they finally give Husky a singles push. He needs to be on his own and not always be in stables. First he was in Nexus, then he was in The Bullies, and now he is part of The Rage Machine. Hopefully, he will face Ryder at TLC and win the championship. Another reason I would like to see Ryder drop the title is because then maybe Ryder can get back into the main event picture and win back the WWE Championship. It’s been almost a year now since the boat incident, so maybe Ryder’s punishment will be over soon.

Rima defeats Kaitlyn (*)

This was a boring Divas match. Fortunately, Awesome Kong came out after the match and tried to attack Rima. It looks like they might have a Summerslam match which is good because Rima has been a really good heel and Awesome Kong has done great as the Divas Champion.

The WWE plugged the new “Greatest Stables in WWE History” DVD. I heard there won’t be many segments featuring the Nexus because of what “he whose name shall not be mentioned” did a few years ago. That’s too bad. He should have made sure that girl wasn’t underage. It’s unfortunate it happened because I wonder how many more times he would have won the WWE Championship. Maybe I’ll discuss that more in my next “What If” column.

Big Rigg defeats Silent Rage (**)

After the match, Silent Rage starting raging up and trieed to attack Mick Foley. Before he attacks Foley, David Otunga comes out. It is worth mentioning that Otunga was once in a stable with The Miz called the Reality Stars. Otunga attacks Rage and chases him to the back. Wow…we haven’t seen Otunga since February when Silent Rage had road rage and hit Otunga with his truck. Before the main event, the RAW GM announces that there will be a special guest referee for this match….JOHN CENA! Wow, Cena hasn’t been in the WWE since he lost in a career-threatening match at Wrestlemania 37 to Ted DiBiase. The rumor is that Cena will face Dominik Mysterio at next year’s Wrestlemania. Hopefully Cena will kick his ass.

Dominik Mysterio defeats The Big Bad Wolf (***)

Kofi Kingston was at ringside for this match. This was a really good match. Mysterio is going to get another chance at the WWE Championship. Mysterio is still very young and I don’t think he should be getting a push this early in his career. That said, he and Kofi had a really good match a couple of months ago at the Rage In A Cage PPV so Kofi vs. Mysterio at TLC should be a good match. It was cool seeing Cena giving BBW the Attitude Adjustment and I’m surprised the GM didn’t take away Mysterio’s win because of Cena’s involvement.

This was a good RAW. After RAW, WWE.com announced that Silent Rage will face David Otunga in a Car match so I’m looking forward to that. Next week is the go-home edition of RAW before TLC so hopefully next week will be just as good as this week.

Wow…you actually posted it. Do you think a Car Match will be an interesting Adamle Original in 10 years? By the way, it’s not easy to write a RAW Review that won’t happen for another 10 years so I ain’t doing this again. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be…I almost feel sorry for the WWE Creative Team.

    • June 13, 2011 at 7:05 pm

Adamle Originals lmfao I forgot all about that guy. Scott Stamford kinda reminds me of him.

      • June 13, 2011 at 7:09 pm

I’m lucky (or unlucky?). I get to see Mike Adamle everyday if I want to. He’s the Chicago NBC News sports anchor. No Joke.

  2. June 13, 2011 at 6:49 pm

lol…I just noticed you posted the “new” WWE logo. Does that mean that the WWE will actually be using it in 2021?

  3. June 13, 2011 at 7:06 pm

That logo goes into effect in 2015, right after Wrestlemania.

Somebody needs to check on Shaman. Michael Tarver was released today.

    • June 13, 2011 at 8:07 pm

He is curled up in the fetal position at the moment, lol.

    • June 13, 2011 at 8:08 pm

….i’m going through a tough time. I asked JCITY to post a tribute to him. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope that they’ll make something of Huskg Harris one day.

Needless to say I’m devistated. He was my hero. This might be the end of Michael Tarver, but Tyrone Evans has just begun. Wherever he ends up I’ll still watch his matches.

      • June 13, 2011 at 8:16 pm

You did? Lol. Tarver will be Impact Wrestling Champion in 3 months.

            Sorry for your loss, Shaman.

          • June 14, 2011 at 7:47 am

Yes Handrew’s adventures will return eventually. He’d be glad he has fans out there.

  6. June 13, 2011 at 8:12 pm

Oh and if this is the way WWE is in 10 years they’ll be having shows in bingo halls.

Dominik Mysterio….oh god, i’ve seen enough of Dominik Guerrero after that custody on a pole match.

    Who’s your Papi, Domink?

    • June 13, 2011 at 8:17 pm

All that whos your papi talk has really affected the way Dominik grew up. Just look at him, lmmfao.

      • June 14, 2011 at 12:33 am

Yeah he’s not looking too good.

Must of been all the childhood devistation with social workers, fighting, and drama all televised.

  7. June 13, 2011 at 8:14 pm

Alex Riley as world champ and the entire roster a bunch of 40 year old jobbers.

That sounds like TNA to me. At least Zack Ryder finally got a Raw match, it only took him 10 years…

  8. June 13, 2011 at 8:27 pm

So Big Show hurts his leg, but has a cast on his hand? Lmfao.

    • June 14, 2011 at 1:11 am

Kane was squeasing it really hard when he first got hit by the car. He must of shattered it. What an emotional person. They really do complete eachother.

  9. June 13, 2011 at 8:46 pm

You’re only 5’10 JCITY? I expected you to be more like 6’2.

    • Capt. Smooth
      June 14, 2011 at 5:43 am

  10. June 13, 2011 at 9:02 pm

I’m above the 5’8 average so I’m good.

I knew Kofi would be the chapion eventually. Hope he has a decent run with the belt.

    • June 15, 2011 at 3:45 pm

I think Kofi is someone who will get the belt eventually. I’m not sure if he has the mic skills but the man gets a really nice reaction from the crowd. Other than Santino, there isn’t another mid-carder that gets a bigger crowd reaction. John Morrison gets a nice reaction but I’m not sure if it is bigger than Kofi and I’m also not sure if Morrison is still considered a mid-carder. By the way, if I left off anyone in my review, just assume they are either on Smackdown or in TNA.

  12. June 15, 2011 at 4:19 pm

I like Kofi better when he is aggressive. I wouldn’t turn him heel, but maybe a tweener role would suit him well. As a face he looks to grow stale like Rey and Cena. He’s a good champion, but I liked him better when he was destroying cars and fighting Orton in the crowd.

      June 16, 2011 at 5:12 pm

His best stuff was that time.

      • June 17, 2011 at 5:39 pm

Fuck yeah. He showed some of that spark once this year when he beat Zigglers ass then he went back to happy go lucky Kofi.
