For Promotional Use Only/ Free Mixtape Download: Rick Ross “Rich Forever”

If you’re a hiphop fan then you should know that Rick Ross was forced to push back his album “God Forgives, I Don’t” from its December 13, 2011 release date to a date that is still to be announced due to his recent heath issues. In the meantime, he dropped this free mixtape “Rich Forever” to keep his fans satisfied until the official album drops. This came out last week, but I finally got around to listening to it today and it’s the usually goodness from Officer Ricky. Most of these songs are album worthy so if this is only the mixtape then I can’t wait to hear what he has in store for “God Forgives, I Don’t”. My favorite songs on this mixtape has to be “Triple Beam Dreams” which features one of my favorites rappers of all time, Nas, and the Common diss from Drake called “Stay Schemin” which Common ended up hijacking and making his very own Drake diss where he basically destroyed the YMCMB rapper in a beef that started over Serena Williams. I was watching a rock doc on VH1 and they were talking about how fake he is. I don’t know if it’s true or not.

    • January 16, 2012 at 3:56 pm

50 Cent exposed him as a Correctional Officer which Ross lied about until 50 produced both documentation and a picture of him in a cop uniform. Ross still tried to deny it, but later on he said he needed the job and he meet alot of drug connections while working as a C.O. 50 then got one of Ross’ babymothers to suck dick on camera on his site, but no matter what, for some reason Ross just kept getting bigger and bigger as an artist. A lesser rapper would have disappeared forever like Chingy after that tranny came out and said she fucked ol’ ching-a-ling up his ass, lol. Now Ross is super relevant while 50 ran away to make movies.

        Interesting. Thanks.

        • January 16, 2012 at 4:30 pm

You’re welcome. It started cuz 50 Cent’s babymothers house was set on fire so Ross in a song mention 50 by his government name and said all evidence points to him so instead of a regular rap feud 50 went out of his way to destroy Ross’ life. He even did Officer Ricky parodies and a song Tia Told Me where Ross’ other babymother dragged his name threw the mud saying he didn’t pay child support and was a little dick bastard she also released a book dissing him. Funny stuff.

A new column idea: The Secret Files. You could have the backstory on certain news items from wrestling, movies, tv, music, etc.

            • January 16, 2012 at 4:44 pm

Interesting! Maybe something on conspiracy theories too.

One of my teachers in high school looked EXACTLY like him!

To be honet dude, Drake took a major L with this one. Common got the last words in and he came out on top. Plus, it’s kind of a bitch move to go on someone elses track that has nothing to do with and diss him, without even saying his name. Drake is to sweet for me now, ahaha.

    • January 16, 2012 at 4:02 pm

Drake is too soft talking about he’s gonna catch a body and shit. The only body he’s gonna catch is his partner while they dance ballet and he throws him in the air. Drake butthurt cuz Common released the Sweet song as a diss then Drake started talking sideways talking bout if he dissing me then he should say my name. Common now said the name so what’s his excuse now? Watch Drake try to get Nicki Minaj and Weezy to fight his battles for him which would be fucking hilarious as fuck. Common destroyed the whole Westside Connection on his own so YMCMB ain’t nothing. Common kinda butthurt too though cuz this whole beef is over a bitch at the end of the day. Fuck it though, I like rap beef so I hope Drake bites the bait again.

      • January 16, 2012 at 4:21 pm

Ahaha, I don’t see Drake coming back though. He has nothing to gain from it. The only thing is that I bet he has some dirt on Common from Serena. But he’s not real enough to do anything about it, lol. Not that he wasn’t before, but he’s been soft as hell since he started hanging out with The Weeknd too, ahaha.

        • January 16, 2012 at 4:33 pm

Drake’s been soft since he was in Degrasi.

I can’t dis him. He’s a big Kentucky baskestball fan.

                • January 16, 2012 at 4:50 pm

Lmmfao. Plus in a real fight Common would destroy Drake.

They wanted Common to play the Greem Lantern named John Stewart.

He’s a good actor on AMC’s Hell on Wheels series where he plays a slave.

Seriously man, I enjoyed the Ross-50 beef and then I noticed that Ross won. It’s undeniable. Ross is that guy right now. Corrections officer or not. 50 has police as protection. At the end of the day I enjoy music. Fuck the man behind the music because we all know they are human and they real persona is toned down. The image sells records and pleases the label heads. Beef on wax is competition. The streets get involved and make it more than it needs to be but at the end of the day, Ross is relevant and can spit and has a dope production team. 50 is 50 and I can’t lie, I love east coast street music so I ain’t picking sides anymore.

Now…Drake aka Aubrey or Audrey? that boy is an R&B artist trying to rap, anyone can rap but there’s no pain, no struggle, no sacrifice in his music. He don’t need to be street, in the trap, hard life but his music is about women and success and I cant relate. He is a good artist at the core but yeah, he’s about as threatening as a paper cut and Common represents the true nature of hip hop. Sad

    Good topic

    • January 17, 2012 at 5:27 pm

I forgot that his name is Aubrey. Aubrey? Aubrey? HAHAHAHAHA That’s a fucking girls name. Drake’s been soft since he came out the puss and his mom named him Aubrey, lmmfao.

When I first seen him I was like “cash money signing models now” heard he was an actor named and aubrey and it was a wrap. I mean Eugene ain’t no name to brag about but I get away with it by being ill lol Aubrey? really? But that’s just the name his mom gave him. His music is mood music during sex. His videos are like stand up comedy, I just laugh at him standing next to the “gangstas” who support him cuz he is their meal ticket. He’s doing good though. This is about Ross though. CD was ok, you know I listen to lyrics. I study hip hop and it was just ok to me. Great production value like all mainstream music but there’s not a lot of depth. I keep forgetting its a mixtape though and it’s free, he’s good at what he does and I can’t say that for a lot of artists

        • January 19, 2012 at 2:54 pm

He can rap his ass off when he tries, but for the most part dude is a R&B singer. True about the people in his videos supporting him because he is their meal ticket, then again Drake never rolled that deep before so I’m sure all those people were provided to him by Cash Money/Young Money. As for Ross, the mixtape has some quality album type tracks mixed in with tons of filler, but to me it blends nicely. It’s only a sampling for the album and Ross usually comes correct on his albums.
