Brock Lesnar Returns To WWE On Monday Night RAW The Night After WrestleMania 28 And Hits John Cena With A MotherFuckin’ F5 4/2/12

I was going to write about my wild and crazy (ie I was drunker than CM Punk swimming in a pool of Jack Daniels) WrestleMania 28 experience, but at this point, that shit is irrelevant as fuck because BROCK LESNAR IS BACK IN THE WWE!!!! Now, if you’re a smarky little asshole who’s addicted to the news and rumors provided by the “dirtsheets”, then I’m pretty sure you’ve all read the rumors this past weekend involving Brock Lesnar signing a one-year WWE contract just in time for him to make a WrestleMania 28 appearance. As we all know, that didn’t happen, which led me to believe that the rumor was just some asshole’s super elaborate April Fool’s prank meant to fool the “know it all” wrestling marks in the IWC. Turns out, the rumor is now a reality as Brock Lesnar – to the delight of the fans- made his return to the company that undoubtedly made him a household name. So, did Lesnar cut a promo to address the fans? Did he try to pander to the crowd asking for forgiveness for leaving the WWE for a failed career in the NFL and a lucrative one in the UFC, where he reigned as champion before everybody started knocking him the fuck out? No. Lesnar made his return by hitting John Cena with his F5 finisher as RAW went off the air. Read more…

THE REAL RAW SHYT: My Brief Thoughts On Monday Night RAW 1/2/12 + The End Of The World As We Know It? I Guess It Was + The Outsider: Monday Night RAW Review… Triple Threat RAW Review Edition

THE REAL RAW SHYT: My Brief Thoughts On Monday Night RAW 1/2/12

[Editors Note: I guess the stars must have aligned because I finally decide to write about Monday Night RAW and to my surprise I already had a Monday Night RAW review by Alan in my inbox. Not only that, but Shaman’s Harvest decided he wanted to add his two cents on Chris Jericho’s WWE return. Instead of posting three different blogs on Monday Night RAW, I decided to add Alan and Shaman’s thoughts on the show to my Monday Night RAW Review. What would have been an epic blog on its own has become a Triple Threat of epic proportions. Things couldn’t have worked out better. This may not be the “premiere read” in the IWC, but it sure as hell is THE REAL RAW SHYT!]

With so much hype going into the January 2, 2012 edition of Monday Night RAW, there was no way in hell that I was going to miss it. I know I said I was never going to review wrestling shows ever again, but with the return of a major WWE Superstar and a WWE Champion Match, it was hard not to formula some kind of opinion and put it out there for mass consumption. As of this moment, this will be the only time I offer brief thoughts on any WWE show. I might bring this format back in the future if there is a demand for it, but for the most part, I’ve outgrown these reviews. When you write about the same thing week after week it becomes too fucking easy to become repetitive. There is only so many times I can say a match sucks, a match was good, the Divas never get a chance to shine, go into details about my fantasy of eating Kelly Kelly out from the back, my hatred for Santino Marella etc etc… So yeah, I decided to give some brief thought on this edition of RAW because I’m sure some of you will have an opinion on such a heavily hyped show and I would like you to be able to express yourself. We haven’t talked that REAL RAW SHYT in a long fucking time, so let’s get right to it.  Read more…

Dolph Ziggler Beats CM Punk And Earns A Shot At The WWE Championship Next Week On Monday Night RAW

Mark my words, 2012 will be the year of the #Heel. It seems that 2011 was the year everyone started noticing the skills Dolph Ziggler possesses in the ring, but if you have followed me since 2010 you should know that I’ve been saying Dolph Ziggler is the motherfucking future of the WWE before it was all trendy. Last night on Monday Night RAW, with an assist from John Gingivitis, Dolph Ziggler defeated CM Punk to earn himself a WWE Championship Match next week on RAW. Dolph is fully capable of putting on great matches and when his opponents are on the level of a CM Punk then you know you are going to witness something special. Next week’s match is sure to be a classic and I’m going on record now and saying that DOLPH ZIGGLER WILL BE THE NEXT WWE CHAMPION!!!

I can just feel it in the air. Can you? Change is coming. Ziggler can definitely beat Punk on his own merit, but I think there might be some foul play involved. Punk as champion has been bad for ratings and there is talks that WWE officials want him to drop the title sooner rather than later. What I think is going to happen is whoever the mysterious force that is supposed to return on January 2, 2012 is going to play an important part in the outcome of the Ziggler vs Punk match. I think they will cost CM Punk his WWE Championship and then feud with Punk leading up to Wrestlemania. As for Ziggler, he fucking deserves this chance to shine. He has continuously had high quality matches and he can definitely hang with WWE’s best as proven by his matches against Punk, Orton and Cena. 2012 is the year of the #Heel. Remember where you heard it first.

The Miz’s Awesome Journey To The Top by Tony Kegger

The Miz’s Awesome Journey To The Top by Tony Kegger

“I apologize in advance for my language. You’re fucking awesome.” – CM Punk at the AAW Scars and Stripes event on July 23, 2011.

CM Punk was talking to 24-year-old independent pro wrestler Gregory Iron, who has cerebral palsy, in the above quote, but I would say the same thing to The Miz if I was ever lucky enough to meet him. So I will now apologize in advance for my language. The Miz is fucking awesome. The Miz has been awesome for a while, but the reason I am writing this now is because on July 25th, Stu Saks, the publisher of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, announced on the PWI Blog that Mike “The Miz” Mizanin was named number one in the 21st annual “PWI 500”. The “PWI 500” is an annual list made by Pro Wrestling Illustrated that ranks the top 500 professional wrestlers in the world. The evaluation period for the list was from June 1, 2010 to May 31, 2011. The Miz lost his WWE Championship on May 1, 2011. Pro Wrestling Illustrated was created in 1979 and is considered to be the best professional wrestling magazine. I know some people are saying, “Who cares what a magazine says?”, but I think this is a big accomplishment for The Miz. PWI isn’t just a random wrestling magazine. PWI is a respected magazine so being named the number one wrestler in the world by PWI should be like being named “Man of the Year” by TIME Magazine. Other wrestlers that were named number one in the PWI 500 in the past include “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Bret Hart, John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Wrestlers like The Rock, CM Punk, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, Eddie Guerrero, Edge, and Rey Mysterio have never reached number one in the PWI 500. Read more…

My Last Monday Night RAW Review? 7/25/11

My Last Monday Night RAW Review? 7/25/11

When I started this site, I thought that I was going to write nothing but original columns, but somewhere down the line I ended up reviewing shows and while reviewing shows guarantees that I will always have something to write about thus providing more content for the site, it’s not what I originally set out to do. Reviewing shows is easy compared to making up content using nothing but your brain and I want to challenge myself and writing opinions on a show or recapping stuff that plays out on television just isn’t challenging enough. So consider this my last Monday Night RAW Review… EVERRead more…

Brief Thoughts On Monday Night RAW 7/19/11

Brief Thoughts On Monday Night RAW 7/19/11

After writing over 10,000 words previewing and reviewing the Money In The Bank PPV, my brain feels like it’s going to fucking explode if I try to write a full length INFAMOUS Monday Night RAW Review. I still wanted to get my thoughts out there, so I condensed this into a few brief thoughts. This might be the shortest review I have ever written, but I think I cover all the important stuff. I’ve always wanted to condense my writing a bit, that way I don’t burn myself out and can write more often than I already do, so hopefully this goes over.  Read more…

Making A Deposit: My WWE Money In The Bank PPV Predictions

Making A Deposit: My WWE Money In The Bank PPV Predictions

Welcome to my WWE Money In The Bank PPV Predictions post, where I will preview every match on the card and try to predict who is walking out of Chicago a winner and who is walking out a LT loser. Now before I start, I just want to say that with the amount of talent involved in each Money In The Bank Ladder Match and the unpredictable nature of the main event, this might just be the hardest PPV of the year to write a prediction post on. I will gladly accept the challenge though since the WWE CM Punk did an above average job of selling me on this PPV. So let’s cut this introduction short and get right to it.  Read more…
