Brief Thoughts On WWE Monday Night RAW Super Show 4/10/12

Brief Thoughts On WWE Monday Night RAW 4/10/12

by THE INFAMOUS JCITY™

Instead of posting the diss blog I planned on posting today, I’m going to B A STAR and give some brief thoughts on RAW. I know I’ve come off pretty negative about wrestling lately, but I was genuinely losing interest in the product which I’ve both watched and enjoyed for about as long as I could remember. Now that The Road To WrestleMania is over, and with past and new Superstars making their returns/debuts, WWE has a freshness to it that has been lacking for quite some time. Anyways, I finally watched RAW as it aired live instead of playing catch up on my DVR and decided to write a few brief thoughts since THE INFAMOUS fanbase keeps checking back on a daily basis for new updates and I’ve been somewhat of a neglectful blog owner as of late (thanks for the continued support, I really do appreciate it). If this goes over well, I plan on doing these on a regular basis. Why brief thoughts instead of THE REAL RAW SHYT? Well, it seems that wrestling fans have the shortest of all attention spans, so instead of wasting time writing over 3,000 words that are more likely going to get skimmed (I really hate when people do that), I rather keep it light since writing so much every time I post only ends up to me being burned out by the end of the week, resulting in less updates. So, join me as I return to what brought me to the dance so to speak, some good ol’ wrestling coverage! OK, I’M RELOADED!!!!! Read more…

My Favorite Moments From The 2012 WWE Royal Rumble PPV

My Favorite Moments From The 2012 WWE Royal Rumble PPV

by THE INFAMOUS JCITY™

This past Sunday WWE aired its annual Royal Rumble PPV and while everyone I’ve talked to so far has praised the event, I personally didn’t like it so much. All of the matches leading up to the Rumble felt like filler, no titles changed hands, no hate was embraced, the world as we know it didn’t end, the matches that were added to the card didn’t add anything special to the event and nothing important really happened. Then again, maybe I just set my expectations too high. Anyways, while the Rumble itself had its moments, compared to previous years, it was a big letdown. All my predictions were wrong, minus the Daniel Bryan pick, but he didn’t win the way I said he would so there’s that. The Royal Rumble wasn’t all bad though. I found a few good moments in the event, so instead of reviewing a show I would more than likely ripped to shreds, I decided to point out the positives, and since there aren’t many this should be a very short read.  You’ve been warned.  Read more…

THE REAL RAW SHYT: My Thoughts On RAW Supershow 1/23/12

THE REAL RAW SHYT: My Thoughts On RAW Supershow 1/23/12

by THE INFAMOUS JCITY™

Before I get into my thoughts on Monday Night RAW, there is an issue that I have to address. Internet haters, keyboard warriors, trolls and anonymous online twats. Lately they have infiltrated the site leaving hateful comments filled with negativity and personal attacks that have nothing to do with the topics at hand. While I’m used to having haters in every aspect of my life, I find that they ruin the reading, writing and commentating experience of those who take the time to participate in the interactive aspect of this site. Having people attack each other is not the type of community I want to build here. I’m all for comments that question logic, a writer’s opinion or just give constructive criticism, but attacking people just for the sake of it will not be tolerated. I know I’ve been just as guilty by feeding the trolls and being twice as negative in return, but in my case I feel that I’m justified in my actions because I don’t go out of my way to start the negativity to begin with. With that being said, if I see any unwarranted personal attacks directed at any of my writers then I’m just going to ban that person on the spot. If you have a problem with me, direct your idiocity at me and no one else. If this is an attempt to scare off any potential new writers then you can take your thoughts and opinions and shove them up your asses. I want to see the site grow so if I have to weed out a few bad apples for that to happen then so be it. I’m not John Cena, I don’t have to Rise Above The Hate. Act civilized or GET THE FUCK OUT. I have no time for bitch made motherfuckers. Fuck!

Ok, now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, it’s now time for the feature presentation… Read more…

The Keg Stand: Zack Ryder Is The Brian Scalabrine Of The WWE by Tony Kegger

The Keg Stand: Zack Ryder Is The Brian Scalabrine Of The WWE by Tony Kegger

Edited by THE INFAMOUS JCITY™

If you’re a WWE fan, you have heard of the “Ryder Revolution”. One year ago, Zack Ryder was rarely on television and was a jobber in the WWE. Now, the entire Internet Wrestling Community is talking about Zack Ryder. At WWE Live Events, fans chant his name, wear his Broski Wigs, and bring Zack Ryder signs. He has become very popular. The question is, how popular is he? The fans love him, but do they want him to be the WWE Champion? When I think of Zack Ryder, I don’t think of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin or The Rock. I don’t even think of a wrestler. I think of Brian Scalabrine. Read more…

THE REAL RAW SHYT: My Thoughts On RAW Supershow 1/16/12

I didn’t get to watch RAW live last night so I didn’t have the usual time it would take for me complete THE REAL RAW SHYT the way I would normally do it and have it posted in a timely manner. What that means is that instead of being as detailed as I usually am, this will just be a bunch of brief thought on the show, so if this seems rushed, it’s because it was. Sue me.  Read more…

THE REAL RAW SHYT: My Thoughts On Monday Night RAW 1/9/12

by THE INFAMOUS JCITY™

Last week’s return of “THE REAL RAW SHYT” was supposed to be a one time thing, but due to popular demand and a very decent showing in the hits department, I decided to bring it back again this week. Believe it or not, I take everything you guys say into consideration when it comes to the site because at the end of the day this is all done for your entertainment. Whether you love it or hate it don’t hesitate to let me know. I’m still debating whether I should focus more on reviews or other type of columns, but it seems that you guys prefer Monday Night RAW over any other wrestling show on the air right now so it would be stupid of me not to take advantage of all the potential hits and discussions any given episode of Monday Night RAW might generate. For now, “THE REAL RAW SHYT” will be done on a week to week basis. I will try to make this a permanent fixture on the site, but if I happen to miss a show or two here and there due to what would probably be a case of severe laziness, then so fucking be it. Enough of this intro crap though, let’s get right into “THE REAL RAW SHYT”.  Read more…

Success Story Of The Year: Zack Ryder

WWWYKI. Frustrated with his position in the WWE, Zack Ryder took matters in his own hands and became an overnight Internet sensation. He was barely used in the WWE so his Z! True Long Island Story was either going to get him fired or noticed. Luckily for him and his Broskis the videos started to get him noticed by fans and top WWE Superstars alike. WWE hates Superstars they didn’t create on their own, but they reluctantly started to feature Ryder on RAW in losing efforts and brief backstage segments. His online presence started gaining a cult like following and it was only a matter of time before people at live events started bringing in Zack Ryder signs. Signs the WWE used to confiscate on a regular basis. The ZackPack refused to be silence though. They started chanting Ryder’s name, they brought even more signs to live events, and even started buying up all the Zack Ryder merchandise they could find. Read more…
